During the final project for our Digital Video course at university, our group of close colleagues decided to create a comedy short film. Drawing inspiration from Barcelos—a town known as a common stop along the Path of Santiago—and from the Portuguese stereotype of an alcoholic, we produced "Perdidos & Achado" ("Lost & Found").
This eleven-minute short film tells the story of a Spanish pilgrim who encounters a pair of Portuguese drunks. Their unexpected meeting takes him off his intended path and reminds him of the joy that can be found in embracing unplanned opportunities.
